Tru-Spec Product line for outwear, Law Enforcement and Civilian

Truspec outwearMuch of the TruSpec outwear product line looks a lot more geared towards law enforcement and the truth is, yes, it is.   Most of these products have areas designed for holding a badge or for silk screening, the Softshell jackets are a little bit more versatile because you can put velcro patches on the arms and make it a team or even airsoft team patch.  We’re working on our on designs for some patches with Elite Survival Systems and the new US Flag patches we have from them will be more diverse than the Blackawk patches.   The Waterproof Parkas are going to expand into the much heavier TruSpec 2.0 Parkas which we did not stock last year.   We’re still not sure how mild of a winter we are going to have but in this part of the Country, you never know until a few days before.

Most of our Law Enforcement need waterproof jackets or pants because they might need to be called to work in traffic or accidents and be out in the soaking rain.  Recently we had the US Open in our area and the TruSpec outwear was alive and well at the event.  Most of the items we have in our store are for the more mild temperatures or as an outer garment.   The problem with a lot of rain gear is it does not breath well and the user ends up sweating an enormous amount just trying to avoid getting wet.   There will be some really good sales and discounts on much of the TruSpec product line so stop in our store or sign up on our Facebook and Newsletter lists.

TruSpec Softshell promo has ended and it’s time to move to Winter Apparel

Several years ago our number on selling item was the Sig Tac jacket.   I have no idea whatever happened to the production of these jackets because they were widely accepted and nobody out there made something like it.  It was  a very nice jacket that looked like regular clothing but had large internal pockets for CCW.   We’ve seen several nice things from the Woolrich Elite line but many of their jackets had some short comings.   There was a Woolrich Elite Series Barn coat that looked nice but it really needed to be lined and was basically a dud product.   TruSpec has gained lots of ground in the industry an from what we see is only behind 5.11 tactical as far as market share in our territory.

TruSpecs name basically lives up to it’s quality control because the tactical pants have all been very consistent compared to other products like Blackhawk, Woolrich and Eotac.   We’ve had so many issues with 5.11 products that we avoid them unless we get special orders, the TruSpec jackets have also become broader in design with the new Soft shell jackets and the 3 in 1 jackets and parka are a staple with local law enforcement due to their features and designs.  Tru Spec does a good job with their winter outerwear but we have had several people say that the sizes run a little smaller.

TruSpec Soft Shell promo kicking off October 1st

We are several days into our TruSpec Soft Shell promo and we have much anticipation.  After we saw so much turmoil in the tactical clothing industry in recent years, we jumped onboard with the TruSpec product line because the company has such a diverse Military, Fire, EMS and now concealed carry product line, it gave us a new angle of our already growing customer base.   There are many products that I personally won’t use like the TruSpec 3 in 1 parkas because these are meant for Law Enforcement because they have the obvious badge holders on the face of the jacket.   The TruSpec windbreaker is also a Law Enforcement product but there are some really cool new things we are bringing into the store.

The coolest looking thing we got in this month are the TruSpec soft shell tactical jackets.  We have sold many other tactical looking jackets from Sigtac, Woolrich Elite and others but the TruSpec jackets are a very nice addition to our showroom.   The TruSpec soft shell jacket is available in Black, Olive, Coyote and the new Multi Cam patter.  The Multi-cam jackets are probable going to be the biggest sellers since the military has adopted the multi-cam pattern.  Even our Smith Optics Elite product line has eyewear that is in multi cam.
